In one of basketball’s great David-and-Goliath stories, Rollie Massimino and the 1984-85 Villanova Wildcats became NCAA tournament champions after entering the tournament as underdogs. To win it all, they defeated No. 1 Georgetown, in what fans now know as “The Perfect Game.”
