Already a classic Vintage V6 model in itself, this stunning guitar, like all models in the Vintage ProShop Series, now evokes stunning individuality, as a one-off custom guitar that’s been through the hands of the Vintage ProShop team of skilled luthiers.

The original finish has now been over sprayed with a white undercoat, the Ventura green top coat applied, then lacquered, after which, many hours have been spent meticulously hand-sanding to accurately create authentic aging and wear and tear in all the right places.

This striking body finish is complimented with a 3 ply pearloid scratchplate again, with highly affective aging focused around the controls and pickup covers, a process that’s also featured within the hard rock maple neck and headstock, whilst the smooth rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets, lets you reach extra high notes not often associated with this guitar design.

A balanced set of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, with staggered, chamfered edged pole pieces, deliver for flagship single coil tones with contemporary power, while the centre unit is reverse wound with reverse polarity for hum cancelling duties in switch position 2 and 4.

Time-tested hardware that’s also been through the subtle distressing process, includes Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok machine heads and a Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge which is a masterpiece of detail in itself.

The amiss of the vibrato back plate reveals the classic 3 spring vibrato set up, assuring spring and string tension are equal, whilst the precision cut GraphTech nut also ensures perfect return to pitch, from the shaking of chords or solo notes with a gentle tease or aggressive vibrato attack.

It’s the finest details within the incredibly authentic and expertly applied worn concept that have earned the Vintage ProShop Series guitars, respect from players around the world.

US alder body provides resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort, enhanced with correctly radiused contoured body.

Vibrato:
The Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge featured on the Vintage V6 is a masterpiece of detail. Positive location, 6 screw design provides return to pitch accuracy; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and ‘snap’. Ground base plate corner provides authentic looks. Stagger drilled cast block significantly enhances return to pitch accuracy and classic vintage tone. The ‘push-in’ delrin-bushed arm with variable tension provides the arm feel that suits your style.

Pickups:
Balanced set of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, with staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces, for authentic tone and contemporary power. Reverse wound, reverse polarity centre pickup provides hum cancelling in switch
position 2 and 4.

Controls:
Single master Volume control with Tone control 1 for the neck and middle pickup, with 'Custom Mod' Tone control 2 for bridge pickup. Five-way selector switch.

Machine Heads:
Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok machine heads. Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability. Staggered string post heights provide correct string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
