With this design, we celebrate the back-to-back National Champion Nebraska Cornhuskers of 1970 and ‘71. Both championships came after Orange Bowl wins—over LSU on New Year’s Day 1971 and Alabama the following year. The 1971 team has been recognized as one of the best in college football history as they were the first and only champion to defeat the teams that would finish Nos. 2, 3, and 4 behind them in the AP Poll.
