Chuck Ealey, one of the University of Toledo's most well-known quarterbacks, lead the Rockets through three undefeated seasons with a 35-0 record. He never lost. He never tied. He was named first-team All-American by the Football News, second-team All-American by the United Press International and third-team All-American by the Associated Press. He was also the MAC football player to be considered for the Heisman Trophy.
